SILCHAR: Preparation for holding the examination for third and fourth grade posts in various government departments was complete in Cachar district too. Examination would be held in 118 centres where candidates from two adjacent districts Karimganj and Hailakandi would also appear. A district administration officer informed that altogether 57,525 candidates would appear in the morning shift and another 15 thousand in the second shift. ADC Rajib Roy who is the Nodal officer for holding the examination had reportedly informed that an observer from other districts would supervise the entire process. There would be one Centre In charge and a Supervising Officer for every centre.
There would be 30 sectors, comprising all the centres in the district. A Foreigner Tribunal would be used as strong room where the sealed answer scripts would be kept. On Wednesday last an orientation camp was organised by the administration where Deputy Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha delivered a set of instructions for successful holding of the examination.
