73rd raising day of NCC Day celebrated in Nagsankar High school

JAMUGURIHAT: The 73rd raising day of NCC was celebrated at Nagsankar High school with a day-long programme on Saturday. The programme began with the hoisting of the flag by Baneswar Bora, former NCC officer, Nagsankar High school followed by a march-past by NCC cadets. The open session began with Labanya Devi, Headmistress of Nagsankar High school in the chair. The meeting began with a borgeet performed by Nayan Jyoti Nath.

Nayanmoni Saikia briefed the objectives of the meeting that followed a patriotic song by Nikita Kalandi. Anjan Baskota, Care Taker officer of Dakhin Nagsankar High school graced the occasion as a chief guest who had highlighted the significance of NCC day and it's importance. Dhananjay Sutradhar, CTO; Kusumtola Anchalic HSS graced the meeting as an invited guest and addressed the gathering. In between the proceedings of the meeting many cultural events were performed by NCC cadets and the students of the school. Baneswar Bora, former NCC officer of Nagsankar High school addressed the gathering and briefed about the value and importance of NCC in student life. Nayanmoni Saikia conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
