8 COVID positive cases detected in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI: The number of COVID-19 cases is rapidly increasing with each passing day in Dhekiajuli subdivision. On Thursday, 8 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in different parts of Dhekiajuli subdivision. In Dhekiajuli PHC, 4 COVID-19 positive was detected on Thursday. They are Saraswati Devi (60) from Janghal Basti, Dhekiajuli, Sunabhan Khatun (25) from Rahmanpur Dhekiajuli, Pathu Paik (46) from Oriental Dhekiajuli, and Kiran Chudai ( 23) from Thelamara. Three COVID-19 positive cases were detected from ward number 5, Dhekiajuli. They are Nirjal Muhari (42), Anima Muhari (62) and Tapossi Muhari. Another positive case was detected from Dhekipelowa Bangali, Gorubandha. He has been identified as Dharanraj Bisht.

As the COVID-19 positive cases are increasing alarmingly in and around Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle area, fear had gripped the people. On Thursday, the number of RAT done was 933. The eight COVID-19 patients have been sent to COVID Care Centre, Tezpur, informed data entry operator of COVID-19 Dhekiajuli Circle, Moinul Hoque.
