97th Birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee celebrated in Nagaon

NAGAON: Along with the rest of the country, on the occasion of the 97th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, District Unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) celebrated the day as a good governing day on Saturday at Nagaon.

The district unit also took out a bike rally throughout the town. The rally started from Krishnashram Siva Mandir premises in the town and traversed throughout the town. The rally concluded near at Ward no 4 at Haiborgaon where the participants lit earthen lamps as well as garlanded the portrait of the former prime minister and also paid homage to him. Local MLA Rupak Sarma, district president of BJYM Sundar Sarma and other bikers participated in the rally.
