AAJYCP Celebrates Foundation Day in Golaghat with awards and cultural events

GOLAGHAT: The All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AAJYCP) celebrated its central foundation day at the Golaghat Amateur Theater Society auditorium on Monday. The open session was held under the presidency of Saidur Rahman, president of AAJYCP central committee, and the aims and purposes of the event were delivered by the general secretary, Nipon Gogoi. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Diganta Kumar Bhuyan, a senior journalist and central committee member of the Axam Xahitya Xabha, and Dinesh Gogoi, an educationist and filmmaker.

During the event, the organization honoured journalist Angela Changmai with the “Yuva Uddipta Samman” and renowned folk artiste Bipul Chetia Phukan with the “Shilpi Uddipana Award.” A drawing competition was also held, and prizes were distributed to the winners.

The programme was also attended by various dignitaries, including representatives from different organizations and social activists. The organization’s foundation day celebration aimed to promote unity and cultural awareness among youth.
