AAP to contest all seats of Assam in 2021 Assembly election

LAKHIMPUR: “Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest in all 126 seats of the State in the upcoming assembly election to be held in 2021.” This was declared by Bonodeep Dutta, the State general secretary of AAP, in a press conference convened at North Lakhimpur Press Club on Saturday.

In this regard, the State general secretary of the political party further stated that the party had been expediting extensive member inclusion campaigns across the State at present. Simultaneously, the party has constituted the district committees as well as the constituency committees in order to strengthen the party’s organizational base in the State.

Addressing media persons, Bonodeep Dutta further informed that the party had initiated a program of nation-building that had already been executed across the State.

“In this regard, a mobile number was launched in order to garner people’s support for this nation-building initiative. Over 18 lakh people from the 25 districts of the State have extended their support to the party,” he asserted.

In addition to the general secretary, the press conference was attended by State AAP in-charge of Lakhimpur district Bikash Dutta, Lakhimpur unit secretary Rajib Ahmed, co-ordinator Debojyoti Chutia and Lakhimpur LAC unit secretary Mintu Gogoi.
