Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal through the Demow Circle Officer. In the memorandum, the AASAA, Demow Regional Committee activists stated that the labourers of tea estates were getting low wages and it was difficult for them to run their families with such meager wages.
