AASU, 30 indigenous organizations took out massive torchlight rally in Demow

DEMOW: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) along with 30 indigenous organizations took out a massive torchlight rally in Demow on Saturday evening in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The torchlight rally started from Demow Public Playground and passed through the main thoroughfares of the town. In the massive torchlight rally, AASU activists along with activists of other organizations shouted various slogans against the BJP Government, State Chief Minister, and State Finance Minister.
