KOKRAJHAR: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) on Monday hung the effigies of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, ministers Himanta Biswa Sarma, Keshab Mahanta, Phani Bhusan Choudhury and AGP president and minister Atul Bora on the new flyover in Kokrajhar on Monday as a mark of protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.

Talking to reporters, the secretary of AASU, Navajyati Ray said the people of the State would never accept CAB as it would give citizenship rights to foreigners.
