AASU, Hatighuli Unit organized Pratibadi Sabha to protest against Citizenship Amendment Act

GAURISAGAR: AASU Hatighuli Regional Unit of Sivasagar district committee on Thursday organized a Pratibadi Sabha at Hatighuli MV school premises on the outskirts of Gaurisagar where people from all walks of life gathered in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Himadrijyoti Dutta, president of All Assam Higher Secondary Teachers’ and Employees’ Union said, “In the name of illegal migrants, Assamese people have already tolerated a lot. We need real leaders who can lead the nation selflessly.”

On the other hand, the veteran folk artiste, recipient of Bakul Banor Kavi award Kamala Gogoi said that people in the every corner of the State came forward to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
