ABSU Activists Express Grief over Sikkim Flash Floods : 53 Dead, 140 Still Missing

KOKRAJHAR: The activists of All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) have mourned the loss of lives in Sikkim flash floods where around 53 people have died and 140 people are still missing as per government report. Thousands of houses have been destructed, road connectivity has been cut off.

ABSU president Dipen Boro appealed the Union government to provide special package to the flood victims with adequate relief and rehabilitation and to expedite the rescue operation in a speedy manner. The All Bodo Students’ Union also extended their solidarity and cooperation in this need of the hour to the people of Sikkim.
