Accused Shahin Ahmed escapes from Kalain police station

SILCHAR: Though handcuffed, Shahin Ahmed, an accused, on Thursday managed to escape from Kalain police station leaving the police team awe-struck. However, after initial shock, police had jumped into action to nab Shahin.

On Wednesday Kalain police arrested Shahin in a scuffle case. He was in police custody. On Thursday he was taken out of the lockup for routine medical check up. Shahin took the chance and fled away with the handcuffs.
