Ace sprinter Hima Das lights Olympic flame at AMCH in Dibrugarh
The Assam Medical College and Hospitals - the region’s oldest and premier health education and care institution, is celebrating its platinum jubilee.

DIBRUGARH: The Assam Medical College and Hospitals - the region's oldest and premier health education and care institution, is celebrating its platinum jubilee.
As a part of the celebration, sports events were also organized among the alumni and students of the medical college. Ace sprinter and Arjuna awardee Hima Das was present during the celebration on Wednesday. Hima also lit the Olympic flame and extended her best wishes to all the participants and alumni of the prestigious institution.
Thousands of alumni who had poured in from various parts of the globe and country on the occasion recalled the precious and golden moments they spent during their stay in the campus. The 1972 MBBS batch contributed a welcome gate of AMCH with a contribution of Rs 25 lakh.
