ADC Barpeta Saibasachi Kashyap Takes Charge as SDO (C) in Nazira, Assam

GAURISAGAR: New SDO Officer Appointed in Nazira: Saibasachi Kashyap, an ACS officer of 2010 batch, took over as SDO (C) in Nazira subdivision in Sivasagar district. Prior to this, he had served as an ADC in Barpeta district. He also served as an Assistant Commissioner in Silchar and Circle Officer in Dhekiajuli revenue circle under Sonitpur district. The high officers of Nazira subdivision welcomed Saibasachi Kashyap on taking charge. SDO Saibyasachi Kashyap on Monday took part in a review meeting on the COVID pandemic situation at Simaluguri Natya Mandir.

Earlier, the administration of Nazira in Sivasagar district, under the supervision of former SDO (C) Lakhimi Dutta and health workers of COVID Centres, started a joint initiative to stem the spread of COVID-19 at Mezenga sub-centre.

Nodal Health Officer Dr Pradyut Konwar and COVID Supervisor Faijur Rahman constituted a committee that included ANM, Asha workers, VDP and gaon burhas. Several groups have been constituted under the committee and these groups will regularly visit the villages of Mezenga to make the local people aware about the pandemic.
