ADG, NCC DTE, NER, Shillong visits NCC Group Headquarters

TEZPUR: Major General AnantaBhuyan, Sena Medal, ADG, NCC Directorate, NER Shillong visited NCC Group Headquarters, Dibrugarh on November 8. He was received by Colonel Raja Maji, Officiating Group Commander and was given guard of honour by NCC cadets at the Group Headquarters, Dibrugarh.

The General Officer, who was on his first official visit to Dibrugarh, was briefed on the NCC activities carried out by the Units of Dibrugarh Group. Colonel Raja Maji gave out detailed briefing on the activities carried out by schools/colleges through NCC cadets and their immense contribution to the society towards educating the locals during COVID times. He also highlighted the efforts being taken by NCC Units to continue the NCC Trg on Digital platform. The ADG appreciated the efforts of the NCC Units in conducting the training to the cadets, thus empowering them to become better citizens. Major General AnantaBhuyan, Sena Medal also interacted with the instructional staff and the Associate NCC Officers in Group Headquarters Complex and reiterated the need of quality training of the cadets. He appreciated the efforts of the Commanding Officers of the Dibrugarh Group and their entire staff who devised innovative methods to carry out sustained interaction and training of NCC cadets through various online platforms during the COVID scenario.
