Agriculture Minister Atul Bora assures Morigaon farmers to help

MORIGAON: Altogether 6 lakh farmers of the State will Rs 5,000 each under the Chief Minister SA-SAJULI Yojana and out of this amount, Rs 2500 for each farmer has already been released by the Finance Department, said State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora on Thursday during his visit to Morigaon. The minister, along with the Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora, reached Bhurbandha and took stock of the bottlenecks faced by the farmers during 21-days lockdown. The minister also visited the cultivated lands of the farmers where he interacted with the farmers whose vegetables had been damaged due to the lockdown. He even assured to help the affected farmers.
