AHSEC to Launch Online Admission Portal 'DARPAN' for HS 1st Year Students

GUWAHATI: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is soon going to start the online admission/ registration process for HS First-Year Admission 2021.

With this, an online web portal called "Darpan" will be launched for HS 1st Year Admission.

Students who have passed the HSLC exam this year may apply online for HS first-year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for the academic session 2021-2022.

Meanwhile, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is going to re-open the 'DARPAN' admission portal for three days i.e. from September 20 to 22, 2021.

The arrangements have been made by the board for the greater interest of students.

In a notification, the AHSEC stated that the students can now submit their fresh application through the portal by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in for admission in those institutions where vacancy is available.

The selection list and waiting list for admission into HS first year will be prepared by the institutions concerned from September 23 to 24, 2021.

In continuation of the earlier notification No. AHSEC/IT/OAS/22/2020/82 dated 02/08/2021, the following arrangements have been made in the Interest of institutions and students:

1. For institutions to create their profile by providing their institutions details into the portal by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in is extended till 13/08/2021 up to 4 pm.
2. Students will be able to apply online for admission into different institutions through the above-mentioned websites from 16/ 08/2021 to 31/08/2021.
3. The institutions will publish the category-wise merit list within 05/09/2021.

This year, Assam HS first year Admission will be completed through "Darpan", the common portal for online HS admission, to be available on AHSEC's official website http://www.ahsec.assam.gov.in .

The principals of colleges, HS schools, and senior secondary schools, willing to avail of this facility, can register for the same in online mode.

For participation in the process, Institutions with valid AHSEC codes have to create their profiles by providing their Institutions' details into the portal by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in.

How to Apply for Assam HS 1st Year Admission?

Students who passed HSLC 2021 exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online.

➢ Click on the HS First-Year Admission link.

➢ A portal will load, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).

➢ After that, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.

➢ Upload scan copy of photograph, signature, and other necessary documents.

➢ After filling and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.

➢ After submitting the application, keep the system-generated acknowledgment for future use.

Assam HS First Year Admission Merit List 2021:

The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2021 Merit List will be available within 31/08/2021. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions.
