All Assam Students' Union (AASU) delegation visits flood-hit areas

JAGIROAD: A delegation of the AASU central committee and the Morigaon district committee visited flood-affected Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday. The delegation also visited various flood-affected areas of Mayong in the district of Morigaon. The delegation visited the houses of flood-affected families and demanded sufficient compensation from the government. The delegation also met forest officer of Pobitora, Mukul Tamuly and took stock of the flood situation.
