All Assam Students' Union organizes interactive session in North Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The North Lakhimpur regional unit of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) organized an interactive session in North Lakhimpur town on Friday. The event was organized at Swahid Bedi premises in order to look back to the achievements, gifted by the passing year 2022 in view of welcoming the new year 2023.

The event was inaugurated by AASU central committee organizing secretary Dhanmoni Dutta. In the same programme, newly-selected AASU president-in-charge, Utpal Sarmah was given warm felicitation by Lakhimpur AASU president Simanta Neog, advisers Sanjib Konwar, Faridur Rahman, central committee chief organizing secretary Pulok Borah and the regional committees under Lakhimpur district unit of AASU.

The interactive session was anchored by former AASU leader Prasanta Dutta. Attending the event, a galaxy of prominent figures of Lakhimpur like Prafulla Sarmah, Dr. Golap Sarmah Baruah, Dr. Utpal Dutta, Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Najim Ahmed, Hamidur Rahman, Dharmeswar Gogoi and many others threw light upon the achievements of the passing year. The life and works of the noted figures who contributed to the mankind with their admirable works in different fields in 2022 was highlighted in the event.

Moreover, the persons who contributed tremendously to Lakhimpur as well as to the State in the year were also lauded in the event. The entire programme was held under the management of North Lakhimpur regional AASU president Pinku Bordoloi and general secretary Abhijit Burhagohain.
