All Bodo Students Union mourns demise of Milabati Brahma

KOKRAJHAR: The All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) condoled the demise of Milabati Brahma, wife of Kamal Kumar Brahma, former president of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, a great litterateur and scholar of the Bodos. Milabati Brahma breathed her last at Lower Assam Hospital and Research Centre, Bongaigaon on Thursday after prolonged illness. The general secretary of the ABSU, Lawrence Islary in a message said the students' body was saddened by the demise of Milabati Brahma and extended condolence to the bereaved family members. The Bodo Sahitya Sabha, central committee and Kokrajhar district committee, other literary bodies and Dularai Boro Harimu Afat (DBHA) also condoled her demise.
