All Bodo Students' Union pays tribute to Indian Bravehearts

KOKRAJHAR: The All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) on Friday evening paid glowing tributes to 20 brave soldiers of India who sacrificed their lives defending border at Galwan Valley along India China border in eastern Ladakh recently. The programme was also observed in every district and anchalik committees of the ABSU.

The Assistant General Secretary of the ABSU Kwrwmdao Wary lighted the lamp and paid floral tributes to the brave soldiers at Bodofa House at 6 pm. The Kokrajhar Press Club and Assam Tchoukball Association also joined the tribute programme.

Talking to reporters, the Assistant general secretary of the ABSU Kwrwmdao Wary said what happened in Galwan Valley was unfortunate. He said, "China's aggressive attempt on the border was a matter of concern and believed that India will deal the evil design of China with firm hands." He also said the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has taken bold steps and given a strong message to China.

The ABSU leader said, "China and India will resolve the border turmoil bilaterally and hoped that both the giant nations will exercise restraint. On the boycott call of Chinese made products, Wary said the time will make all compulsions to reject Chinese products for which push for self reliance is the need of the hour.
