All educational institutions in Cachar to remain closed till Friday amid flood situation

SILCHAR: Though 4the flood situation in Cachar district had improved a bit, the district administration declared holidays in all the schools and colleges. Educational institutions in Cachar are to remain closed till Friday.

Accordingly, the Assam University would also remain closed till Friday. Suprabir Dutta Roy, the Controller of Examinations of the University, in a press release stated that all PG/UG/IG theory examinations including LLB and BEd (practical examinations) under affiliated colleges, scheduled to be held on June 4 and 5 were hereby postponed and new dates would be notified shortly. However, other examination schedules remained unaltered.
