All India Weights and Measurements Publicity Week concludes in Darrang district
Synchronizing with the ‘All India Weights and Measurements Publicity Week’, a mass publicity campaign among consumers regarding their rights in weights and measurements was conducted in the Darrang district from December 28 to January 3 along with the rest of the State.

MANGALDAI: Synchronizing with the 'All India Weights and Measurements Publicity Week', a mass publicity campaign among consumers regarding their rights in weights and measurements was conducted in the Darrang district from December 28 to January 3 along with the rest of the State.
On the concluding day on Tuesday, efforts were made under the aegis of the District Legal Metrology department to create awareness among the common people at different places, including Duni, Dipila and Borichowka on the westernmost part of the district.
Earlier, officials and staff of the department led by its Assistant Controller Manoj Kumar Das and Inspector Nirmali Borah have taken up similar efforts to sensitize the people of the locality at Mangaldai daily market and fish market, Bangalagarh and Patharighat weekly markets etc. through distribution of leaflets, miking and holding of brief meetings.
