All Koch-Rajbanshi Students' Union Supports Bandh on September 26

BONGAIGAON: All Koch-Rajbanshi Students' Union had extended their full support to the bandh on September 26 called by United forum of six communities for the demand of ST categorization of six communities of Assam. In a press meet held on Tuesday at Bongaigaon, Sunadhar Ray and Boloram Barman, secretary and president of AKRSU said that Government had betrayed all the six communities of Assam who are actually sons of soil. "BJP used our sentiment for their political benefit but never showed any interest to fulfill our demands. So we decided to adopt the path of agitation again. We are launching a programme, BJP hatao, Koch-Rajbanshi bachao (throw out BJP, save Koch-Rajbanshi) very soon," they said.
