Ambulance and sanitizer van donated to Astha NGO in Udalguri

UDALGURI: A corpse-carrying ambulance and a sanitizer van were inaugurated in the premises of the office of Astha NGO in Udalguri. In a ceremonial function, Md. Taiyabur Rahman, the Udalguri district Joint Director of Health, inaugurated the corpse-carrying ambulance and sanitizer van service. The ambulance was donated by contractors Ashok Bajaj, Menon Mochahary, Ajoy Deka and Bhabadev Mahanta. Contractor Roshan Konkani donated a mini sanitizer van to the NGO. Ashtha NGO has been conducting skill development programmes for the youths of Udalguri. Gautamjyoti Talukdar, the president of Udalguri Press Club, Akhil Kalita, the central executive member of Axam Xahitya Xabha and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
