DOOMDOOMA: All Moran Students' Union (AMSU) president Arunjyoti Moran congratulated all the three rank holders as well as all the candidates of Tinsukia district who passed the HS (Arts, Science and Commerce) final exam, 2020.

In Arts stream, two candidates from Doomdooma region bagged third and seventh positions. They are Maumita Konwar (3rd, 94.6 per cent) of Barhapjan, Santipur, Raidang village and Annashri Mahanta (7th, 93.8 per cent) of Talap respectively. Maumita appeared from RD Junior College, Digboi while Annashri appeared from Salt Brooke Academy, Dibrugarh. Maumita is the daughter of Bimal Konwar and Yami Konwar. She wishes to pursue her studies in Tezpur University with Honours in English so that she can opt for teaching as her career. On the other hand, Annashri, who is the daughter of Kamal Mahanta, wants to study in Delhi University and aims to become a civil servant.

Rohit Agarwal of Margherita bagged 7th position in HS (Commerce) stream scoring 90.8 per cent. He is the son of Subhash Agarwal and Laxmi Agarwal. He appeared from RD Junior College, Digboi. The pass percentage of Tinsukia district in the HS examination is 78.72 per cent in Arts, 80.91 per cent in Science and 78.09 per cent in Commerce.
