An aged Men from Assam have been Rescued by Kashmiri Citizen in Kashmir

Biswanath Chariali, July 27: In an incident that will restore our faith in humanity, Bhola Borah (72) of Saraijania village under Sootea PS in Biswanath district, who had gone missing on July 14 while returning from the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kashmir, arrived safely at his home on Thursday- courtesy two Kashmiri women.

According to Bhola Borah, he was reportedly kidnapped by some miscreants at Katra railway station in Kashmir who fed him some kind of psychoactive substance. Borah found himself the next day in an abandoned place near the station and his money and clothes had been looted by the miscreants. He was roaming around helplessly when some women happened to notice him.

Pinki and her neighbour Rakhi came forward to help him and Borah narrated everything to them. Pinki took him to her house and took care of him for three days as his health condition was deteriorating. When Bhola Borah recovered, Pinki’s husband managed a train ticket for Borah to return home. They also provided him Rs 2,000 and some food to eat during his return journey.

Borah’s family members were overwhelmed with joy when he returned home safely and expressed their gratitude to the women over phone. His wife and son, who were camping in New Delhi to manage his return, were also informed about the matter. Local people are happy that humanity is not lost in this world.
