Anganwadi workers and helpers stage protest in Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Assam State Anganwadi Workers’ and Helpers’ Association, a protest was staged in front of the Demow Social Welfare Office on Wednesday to demand emolument instead of remuneration for Anganwadi workers and helpers. The protesters held placards and banners.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to the State Social Welfare Minister through the Demow Social Welfare Officer. In the memorandum, they listed their various demands.
