Annual conference of Brahman Samaj concludes in Morigaon

MORIGAON: The 62nd annual conference of Morigaon Brahman Samaj concluded on Sunday at Vishnumondir in Morigaon which commenced on June 11. The two-day programme concluded with various religious programmes at Vishnumondir. On June 11 ,the day began with the hoisting of the flag of Brahman Samaj by the president of MZBS Puwal Ch.Goswami.
Thereafter the 'dharmadhwaj' was set up by the advisor of the reception committee Sisir Sarma. The Vice President of Axam Xahitya Xabha Milanini Devi attended the programme as the chief guest. Milanini Devi announced Rs 20 lakh for construction of a new building inside the mandir campus. On Sunday, the day began with a 'pravatbandana' by the priest of Bishnumandir Lakhikanta Ch Goswami.
