Anti-CAA protest organized by Tinsukia District Students’ Union (AASU)

TINSUKIA: More than thousand people, including a large number of women and students, took to the street and lined up to form a 2-km long human chain at AT Road Tinsukia on Monday against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act, without, however, disrupting normal traffic on the NH 37 (AT Road). The protest, organized by Tinsukia District Students’ Union (AASU), was supported by 30 other ethnic organizations.
