GUWAHATI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will conduct its Combined Competitive (Prel.) Examination, 2020 on September 12, 2021.
Further, the examination will be held at 31 district headquarters.
The examination will be held at Biswanath onChariali, Bongaigaon, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Haflong, Hamren, Hatsingimari, Hojai, Jorhat, Kajalgaon, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Mushalpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivasagar, Sonari, Tezpur, Tinsukia, Udalguri and Guwahati.
The status of the applications and e-Admission certificates of candidates for the said examination will be uploaded in the website www.apsc.nic.in.
The examination will be conducted for the 331 posts in different categories. A total of 76071 candidates will appear in the examination.
All candidates appearing in examinations and interviews conducted by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will be required to bring an RT-PCR negative report along with them, an official notification stated.
The test must be taken within 3 days prior to the examination or interview, it said.
Earlier, the prime accused in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash for job scam, Rakesh Paul, was granted bail by Gauhati High Court on July 22. Paul was granted bail in the case filed by the CID. However, his name is yet to be cleared in the case filed at Bhangagarh police station.
