APSC exam coaching centre inaugurated by Naba Kumar Doley

LAKHIMPUR: State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Naba Kumar Doley inaugurated a coaching centre for APSC exams at Dhakuakhona College on Sunday. The aspiring students intending to appear in the ACS and APS exams held under the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) can avail due coaching for three months in the centre, which has been set up under the joint venture of Dhakuakhona Subdivisional administration and Dhakuakhona College.

The minister said that the students of the subdivision had been deprived of achieving commendable success in the competitive exams despite their brilliance just because of the lack of adequate infrastructure and proper guidance. He urged the aspirants to avail the opportunity of the coaching centre.

Besides this, he declared a package of Rs 7 crore for the construction of Dhakuakhona College stadium. Attending the programme, Dhakuakhona Subdivisional Officer Arindam Baruah delivered an inspiring lecture, calling upon the students to be human resources in the true sense. Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Ranjit Tamuli and Subdivisional police officer Mohanlal Mina were also present in the programme along with many other dignitaries.
