Army Assists in Construction of Embankment in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: An Army unit of Gajraj Corps, Tezpur of Ball of fire division assisted the locals of Charduar in Sonitpur district, in constructing flood protection embankment and diversionary work in Mansari river through self-help efforts to prevent monsoon flooding. This was appreciated as the finest example of self-empowerment and voluntary community services towards nation building at grassroot levels by troops of Indian Army.
