Army organizes medical camp in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Lokra Battalion of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) under aegis of Spear Corps organized a medical camp under ARCAP at Bihaguri village, Sonitpur district. The medical camp was organized to provide medical consultation and medicines to local people devoid of basic medical infrastructure and facilities. Apart from medical assistance, basic awareness on hygiene and healthy lifestyle was also imparted in the medical camp. A total of 296 locals benefited from this medical camp. This initiative by Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the civil administration and local people.
