Artist Abhinav Moran file FIR against e-media journalist

TINSUKIA: An upcoming artist, Abhinav Moran lodged an FIR against a senior e-media journalist, Bikash Moran and a woman after he was allegedly threatened by them on social media and they also allegedly maligned his parents by uploading objectionable comments.

The Tinsukia police, after much dilly-dallying, registered the case no 1191/2020 following directives from CJM court u/s 294/506/34 of IPC and RW Sec 67 IT Act. In a press meet at Tinsukia Press Club on Monday, Abhinav Moran disclosed that Bikash Moran who was a regular visitor to their house and later developed intimacy with one Gogoi. The latter, in collusion with Bikash Moran, allegedly started harassing Abhinav and his parents during the past few months on social media. Though he lodged FIR on 21.10.2020, it was registered on 7.11.2020 only after intervention of CJM court, said Moran. Now he has sought justice after through inquiry.
