Asam Chah Karmachari Sangha stages sit-in against James Warren Tea Ltd

DOOMDOOMA: To protest against the apathy of James Warren Tea Ltd. in fulfilling the long-standing demands of the employees and for not clearing their outstanding dues, Asam Chah Karmachari Sangha (ACKS) staged sit-in in front of the head offices of all the seven tea estates under it by strictly observing social distancing protocol on Tuesday as part of a series of agitation programmes to be launched to compel the company to come to terms with the employees. The tea gardens where the employees staged sit-in are Dhoedam, Deamoolie, Tippuk (Doomdooma Circle), Jaloni, Raja Ali, Balijan (Tingrai Circle) and Thiers (Moran Circle).
