Assam: 1 Killed In Road Accident After Truck Hits Scooter

Guwahati: A person was killed in a road accident on Monday after being hit by a truck in Jorabat's Ghanashyam Basti.

However, the deceased person is yet to be identified.

According to reports, the incident took place when a truck that was heading towards Sonapur hit the person's scooter.

However, it yet to ascertain whether truck hit the scooter or the scooter collided with the truck.

As per the initial report, the scooter is registered in the name of Amrit Telenlga.

Meanwhile, the drive of the truck fled from the spot after the accident and later caught by police.

Further investigation is underway.
