Last month, a woman was looted of an amount of Rs. 19 lakhs by a gang of cybercriminals in Assam's Sivasagar.

The group of cybercriminals allegedly made friends with the woman's minor son on the online game PUBG.

The minor son who was addicted to the game transferred an amount of Rs.19 lakhs to the criminals after they managed to persuade the boy.

A complaint was immediately lodged by the woman in the police station after she discovered that Rs. 19 lakhs had been missing from her bank account.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the son had transferred the amount to a group of young men who the police soon managed to identify. One of the criminal was identified as Nipuraj Gogoi who is only 20 years of age.
