Guwahati: Assam is set to witness a major boost in its industrial and urban landscape with the launch of the Jagiroad Integrated Satellite Township, a project worth over ₹5,923 crore.

The township, envisioned as a world-class hub of housing and business zones, is expected to play a crucial role in powering Assam’s growth story. With modern infrastructure, industrial clusters, and residential facilities, it aims to attract investments, generate employment, and create opportunities for both local entrepreneurs and global investors.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a post on X, acclaimed the project as a “game-changer for the region”, highlighting how it will strengthen connectivity, boost trade, and transform Jagiroad into a model industrial township for the Northeast.
