GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced in a Facebook live session that the results of the Assam Direct Recruitment Exams (ADRE), held in October, 2024, will be declared either in the end of February or in the beginning of March 2025.

He also revealed that the written test for recruitment into Assam Police will be conducted on February, 2025. Additionally, CM Sarma stated that the application link for mutual transfers of Assam state government employees will be available from January 1 to February 28 of the year 2025.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Thursday the expansion of the state's free dialysis network, with the addition of 37 new hemodialysis centers.

This initiative is poised to transform kidney treatment in the state, offering crucial support to patients battling chronic kidney diseases.

The new centers will feature 150 advanced dialysis machines, established under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model and backed by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners.

These centers will improve access to free dialysis services, especially in underserved areas, ensuring that every patient receives the essential care they need. At present, Assam has 41 dialysis centers statewide, housing a total of 277 dialysis machines.
