Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora's Convoy Meets With Accident In Hojai

Guwahati: Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora's convoy met with an accident in Hojai district on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at National Highway (NH) 54 in Barbaha in the Hojai district.

According to reports, the convoy vehicle, with a registered number bearing AS 02 AA 1043 attempted to overtake an Army vehicle but collided with it.

Following the incident, the driver of the vehicle was injured. The accident took place when Bora was on his way to Hojai to take the stock of the flood situation.

Notably, on July 29, 2021, Bora's convoy met with a road accident at Umran Dairy near Nongpoh on the Guwahati-Shillong Road.

Fortunately, the minister did not sustain any injuries in the incident.

He was on his way to Silchar from Guwahati when one of the vehicles turned turtle after it lost control at Umran Dairy in Meghalaya's Ri-Bhoi district.
