The protest took place near the Dhing Gate in Nagaon town, where protesters raised slogans demanding the repeal of the Waqf Amendment Bill. They also shouted slogans like ‘Repeal Waqf Amendment Bill,’ ‘Don’t snatch away our constitutional rights,’ and ‘Long live AMSU,’ etc. The protesters warned the government that if the bill is not repealed, the minority students’ organization will launch a massive agitation in the future.

Prominent AMSU leaders, including Mosharaf Hussain Kobi, Vice-President of AMSU’s central committee, Abdul Nur, President of Nagaon district unit, and secretaries Ashraful Hussain and Saddam Hussain, participated in the protest.
