Assam: Anniversary of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra Celebrated in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The 137th birth anniversary of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra was celebrated with grandeur at the Green Field, Kokrajhar, on Sunday. The event was inaugurated by BTC (Bodoland Territorial Council) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro.

The first program of the day commenced with the opening of the temple, followed by a mass prayer session for world peace. The prayer gathering saw a large turnout of devotees, who participated in heartfelt prayers for the well-being and harmony of the world.

In a significant display of unity, BTC CEM Promod Boro was joined by former BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary, making it a momentous occasion for the region. Their joint participation in the event underlined the importance of community and spiritual solidarity in celebrating the life and teachings of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra.

Devotees from across Assam, along with other parts of the nation including West Bengal, Odisha, and other states, graced the celebration with their presence. Their collective participation reflected the widespread reverence for Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra and his message of peace and spiritual enlightenment. The organizing committee expressed gratitude to all those who made the celebration possible and promised to continue fostering spiritual unity through such events in the future.
