NAGAON: While the rest of the districts struggled to restore power supply after severe damages due to incessant rains and thunder storms since May 30, APDCL, Nagaon restored power supply within 24 hours in the district. It was possible only because of the dedicated spirit and smooth management of the officials concerned of APDCL, Nagaon.
It was reported that during incessant rains and thunder storm since May 30, the power supply across the district was crippled due to severe damages of several transformers and other power lines in almost all sub divisions in the district including Dhing, Juria, Raha, Samaguri, and Nagaon sub divisions. It was expected that the restoration of power supply across the district would take more than a week. But with the smooth management of CEO Pranjal Katoki, AGM, Div I Swapan Kumar Das, AGM, Div II Pallab Das, and other officials from the department concerned, APDCL, Nagaon was able to restore power supply in the entire district within just 24 hours.
The people of the district expressed their gratitude to the officials as well as other employees of APDCL, Nagaon for their dedication and commitment towards their duties and responsibilities. Several organizations as well as other dignitaries urged the officials as well as other employees to sustain such dedication and commitment in the days to come during periods of emergencies and natural calamities.
