Assam: Application process for Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu schemes launched at Hajo

NALBARI: The application process for the new editions of the Assam Government's flagship Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu schemes was formally launched on Thursday at Suren Das Autonomous College, Hajo, with an aim to support students in pursuing higher education.

The launch in the Hajo-Sualkuchi Assembly constituency was held in line with the statewide inauguration of the application process by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Addressing the gathering, Hajo-Sualkuchi MLA Prakash Chandra Das said that education is the foundation of a strong and progressive society. He stated that the State Government has introduced the two schemes to provide essential financial assistance to students, enabling them to pursue higher education with greater confidence and work towards achieving their academic aspirations.
