Assam: APSC CCE 2024 Results Declared; Women Shine with Top Ranks in Civil and Police Services

The final result is declared according to the performance of the candidate in the mains written examination and interview (personality test), which was conducted from November 13 to 29, 2024.

GUWAHATI: Assam Public Service Commission has announced the results of 2024 Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) on 5 December.

According to reports, candidates from various kinds of services have performed exceptionally well on the exam. Partha Pratim Sarmah topped the Assam Police Service (APS) junior grade, followed by Chiranjeev Phukan in Assam Civil Service (ACS) junior grade.

Women candidates performed well and bagged seven out of the top ten in ACS and four in APS. The junior grade rankers in the top ten in ACS are Chiranjeev Phukan, Anisha Buragohain, Himadri Jita Bora, Mrigakhi Baruah, Tutumani Kakati, Mridusmita Ray, Mary Kalita, Diksha Sarkar, Nilam Garg, and Ankita Chettri.

The top ten for APS junior grade are Partha Pratim Sarmah, Annesha Duarah, Bijoy Ahmed, Nilupta Saharia, Sunayana Sabhapandit, Amit Khanal, Sudakshina Deka, Bikash Nandan Bora, Debasish Kalita, and Vidisha Bora.

The final result is declared according to the performance of the candidate in the mains written examination and interview (personality test), which was conducted from November 13 to 29, 2024.

Total 45 candidates were recommended for ACS, 35 for APS and others for Superintendent of Taxes, Superintendent of Excise and Block Development Officers. A total of 107 candidates have been selected for Assistant Accounts Officer which is the maximum number for all categories.

This year's results show a growing presence and success of women in civil services, signifying progress in gender representation within the administrative framework.
