Assam: ASI gets caught by Anti-corruption branch while taking bribe

ASI Pankaj Bora was taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from a family of a woman who disappeared last week. He initially demanded Rs 10,000 to find the missing woman.

Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Pankaj Bora was caught red-handed by the anti-corruption branch while he was taking bribe in a hotel located in Morigaon on Monday.

According to sources, Bora was taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from a family of a woman who disappeared last week. He initially demanded Rs 10,000 to find the missing woman.

The anti-corruption team is currently conducting a search operation at Bora's residence in Morigaon.

As per information, there have been many allegations against the ASI previously.
