Assam: Ayushman Bhava health mela underway at Karigaon Model Hospital
KOKRAJHAR: MLA Lawrence Islary on Wednesday formally inaugurated the Ayushman Bhava health mela at Karigaon Model Hospital in the presence of Joint Director and CHD, Health Services, BTC.
Talking to media persons, MLA Lawrence Islary said the Ayushman Bhava health mela got underway from Karigaon Model Hospital on Wednesday and would continue till October 2 in different health centres. He said similar programmes would be held in Dotma Community Health Centre and Serfanguri Model Hospital and other State dispensaries. He said doctors from Kokrajhar Medical College and Hospital rendered their services in the day-long health check-up camp at Karigaon Model Hospital. He also said that Ayushman health cards would also be issued to the people to avail healthcare facilities.
