ORANG: As the political atmosphere heats up in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), the Bhergaon council constituency has turned into a hub of intense pre-election activity. Following the momentum set by UPPL and BPF, the BJP has now sounded its election bugle in the area.
Declaring the BJP’s growing dominance, Bhergaon Mandal BJP President Fatik Kachari confidently stated, “This time, the Bhergaon council seat is sure to fall under BJP’s control.”
With the Chief Minister recently announcing that the BTC elections are likely to be held in September, political parties have stepped up their activities across the region. In Bhergaon, the BJP appears to be in a strong position, organizing daily induction drives that are drawing hundreds of new supporters to the party fold.
On Sunday night, a significant joining ceremony was held at the Bhergaon tea garden area under the leadership of Udalguri District BJP general secretary Joshrang Boro and Bhergaon Mandal president Fatik Kachari. The event witnessed over a hundred individuals officially joining the BJP.
Addressing the massive gathering, BJP leader Joshrang Boro emphasized the necessity of forming a BJP-led government in the BTC for the region’s development. He called upon party workers and the public to be fully prepared for the upcoming elections and stand united under the BJP banner.
With continuous waves of new supporters and strategic grassroots mobilization, Bhergaon is quickly becoming a key battleground in the forthcoming BTC elections where the BJP seems determined to assert its dominance.
