Assam: BJP stages protest in Morigaon district against Congress MLA Nurul Huda

Morigaon: In protest against the attack on Assam Assembly Vice Chairman Dr. Numal Momin, BJP workers raised slogans demanding the arrest of Congress MLA Nurul Huda, who allegedly assaulted Dr. Momin inside the Assembly.

The Morigaon district BJP committee, led by its president Ramprasad Sarkar and general secretary Nirmal Konwar, urged the government to cancel the MLA post of Nurul Huda immediately. The protesters chanted slogans such as “Nurul Huda, go back! Go back!” in front of the circuit house today. More than 200 BJP workers participated in the protest.
